Q. How do I find your church?

A. New Life Fellowship is located about 1.5 miles south of the Village of Attica on Highway 98 South.  You will see some Welcome flags around the driveway entrance. Follow the driveway to the parking lot, enter through the covered entrance or use the handicap ramp, and friendly volunteers will assist you from there.

Q. What time are your services?

A.  We meet every Sunday morning (including Christmas) at the main sanctuary at 10:00 am.  The only exceptions are snow closure and the July Picnic in the Park.  Wednesday night services are scheduled according to course content and may be held in the main building or in homes.  Please call 585-591-2603 to find the schedule for Wednesdays.

Q. What are your meetings like?

A.  We are informal or casual.  A blue jean and cowboy boot congregation if you will.  Most people wear denim with a few dresses and office wear mixed in.  The Pastor wears dress slacks and an open collar shirt on the platform.  We have older style of worship songs, but there is also some newer upbeat songs sung as well, announcements and sermon.  However, we believe the Spirit of God flows in our midst so as we sense His leading, the flow may change to pray for the sick, speak early, extend the worship, add a song.  Our desire is to be led by His Spirit which means we have to be flexible.

Q. What about the music?

A. We sing current (last 5 years) music commonly found on contemporary Christian Radio.  Songs by Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Jesus Culture are part of our worship service.  Musicians are mic’ed and amplified with a blend of guitars and drums with occasional brass and keyboards added.  During certain seasons such as Easter and Christmas, we will add traditional hymns to our services.

Q. What is available for children?

A. We have trained volunteers to work with children at each Sunday service.  The Young Lions and Lion Cubs groups, ages 3-12, will leave the main (auditorium) sanctuary after the music and announcements for age specific teaching and activities.  We are developing regular nursery care. Parents with nursery age children are welcome in the sanctuary or they can use our nursery facilities which are wired for sound with the morning service.  Teens are part of the morning service.

Q. Will I be asked to give money?

A. We believe that giving is part of worship.  An opportunity is given for individuals to present a financial offering to the Lord which supports this body and its work.  No pressure is applied for anyone to give.  We do not take credit cards because we encourage people to live debt free as much as possible.

Q. What about membership?

A. While we do have membership rolls and as a corporation are required to maintain a roster for voting on major items such as property purchases, for the purpose of weekly worship, if you come, you are received as a member of the body of Christ.  Our desire is that you would find a comfortable, friendly atmosphere that will enhance your time of worship.  The greatest thing we could imagine would be that you come and meet God in a personal intimate way.  Be our guest for several services, come to some meals and special events, take your time and feel God’s leading so that we know together that this is where God would have you.
